L-C Fall Sports Preview On WBDK Draws Big Crowd At Rendezvous

Players, coaches and fans of Luxemburg-Casco High School showed up in full force last night at the Rendezvous in Luxemburg for the Luxemburg-Casco Fall Sports Preview.  Host Paul Schmitt visited with Volleyball Coach Jeff Frye the first half hour with senior captains Lexi Kinnard and Jess Liebeck along with Junior Sarah Kinnard.  The volleyball team travels to the Sun Prairie Tournament this weekend for their first action of the season.  Football Coach Dillon Maney along with assistant coaches John Hampton and Neil Seering recapped the Spartans opening game victory last week against New London.

Seniors Caleb Williams, Cole Kirchman and Luke Destiche shared their optimism for tonight’s home opener versus Seymour Friday night.  Jen Bandow, Athletic Director at L-C, capped off the show reviewing all sports and her responsibilities.  Her husband, Blair, who is the boys soccer coach, planned on attending, but L-C’s game against Little Chute finished in a 2-2 tie after two extended overtime periods.
