The Brewers may have hit the lowest of lows in a 10-1 defeat by the Houston Astros last night. Major League Baseball’s second worst team admittedly in rebuilding mode crushed Milwaukee Tuesday in the opener of a three game series.
Jordan Lyles' lights out pitching and two home runs accounting for seven of the Astros RBI’s was more than enough for Houston to top the Brewers. The Astros moved to (27-45) and Milwaukee sunk to (28-41) now the third worst record in baseball.
Carlos Gomez was the lone bright spot for ‘The Crew’ with two hits and the defensive play of the day for Milwaukee in the seventh inning.
