Mother Nature provided a perfect afternoon for area golfers to take their best swing at Horseshoe Bay Golf Course. Teams were split into two divisions and Gibraltar was the champion in Division 3. The Vikings shot a 379 as a team and Grant Heimen’s medalist finish of 82 was enough to best Shiocton by 18 strokes. Sevastopol and Coleman rounded out the D3 field.
In Division 2, Luxemburg-Casco shot an impressive 320 to take the Invitational. The Spartans were led by senior David Spengler with a scorching 69. Sturgeon Bay finished second 10 strokes back of L-C with a 330. Sean Hogan led the Clippers with a 78.
