Local high school teams aren’t the only ones having their games canceled and postponed due to weather this week. The Milwaukee Brewers' rubber game with the Cubs scheduled for Wrigley Field last night was pushed back to July 30 at 1:20 p.m. as part of a day-night doubleheader.
After eight games Milwaukee is just (2-6) so the extra day off may be exactly what the doctor ordered. Ironically it sets up an intriguing matchup Friday when Milwaukee travels to St. Louis. Instead of missing the weekend series, Kyle Lohse will now matchup with his former teammates tomorrow.
