State Tournament Leads To A Number Of College Announcements For Storm And Wolves Players

Kewaunee senior girls basketball player Kelsey Stangel scored an unbelievable 27 points in the WIAA Division 3 state final and had college coaches lining up to talk with her after the championship. However, Stangel had already made up her mind. She talked about her exciting college basketball decision on the post game show with WBDK following the thrilling 60-58 win Saturday.

Kewaunee senior guard Jill Kleiman announced she will be playing next year at St. Norbert’s College after Friday’s state semi-final win over  Lodi on 96.7 FM WBDK.

Algoma’s Taylor Schmidt announced to WRLU 104.1 FM that she will be playing collegiately at UW Oshkosh after her sectional final win over Oconto.
