Regional Girls Hoops Tournament Starts Tonight

Sturgeon Bay, Southern Door and Gibraltar all host first round WIAA regional quarterfinal matchups tonight as the girls basketball tournament opens. Algoma, Kewaunee and Oconto all have a first round bye and will spend the evening scouting their opponents for Thursday’s semifinal.

The Clippers received a number eight seed and host ninth ranked Chilton. No. 7 Southern Door welcomes No. 10 L-C also in Division 3. In Division 5, Sevastopol will travel to Lena while Gibraltar hosts Kohler.
