
Southern Door’s Cheyanne McFarlin surpassed the 1,000 point mark in her career last night as she lit up the board with 26 points in a 51-34 win against Sevastopol. The teams were tied at 13 after the first quarter but the Eagles outscored the Pioneers 14-4 in the second quarter and kept up the momentum. Lucy Bley led Sevastopol with 13 points in the loss.
The Sturgeon Bay girls started off strong in their 45-31 win over Gibraltar. Makenna Ash came alive in the second half for the Vikings, scoring all 20 of her points on the night but it wasn’t enough. Natalie Rose led the Clippers with 11 points and Linnea Schmelzer and Rachel Haight each chipped in with 10 points.
