
Southern Door took another step towards locking up second position in the Packerland Conference with an intense 42-41 win over Kewaunee Tuesday night. The Storm had a one point lead with 36 seconds left but fouled sophomore Mitchell Neubauer with 5.5 ticks left. He calmly sank both free throws to give the Eagles a one point lead. Then Trevor Hawkey stole a pass to secure the game of the night in Door and Kewaunee Counties. Neubauer finished with 19 points while Kewaunee got 22 from Logan Brusky.
Algoma won a non-conference matchup with Manitowoc Lutheran 66-59. Jake Wiese and Travis Kostichka combined for 35 points as the Wolves played one of their best games of the season.
Luxemburg-Casco took New London to overtime but fell 63-56. Caleb Willems scored 13 to lead the Spartans.
