In a wrestling tournament considered better that the WIAA state meet, Southern Door's Jacob Englebert won an individual championship wrestling at 138 pounds. The Eagles wrestled extremely well considering they took 22nd out of 60 teams. Many of the teams they beat were Division 1 schools as well. The Eagles compiled a total of 135.5 points.
Collin Schubert wrestled in a third place match. Hunter Pawelski and Mitchel Overbeck wrestled in the ninth place matches. The aforementioned four Eagles wrestlers impressed not only area coaches but others from across the state.
Lucas Stephenson was Sturgeon Bay's top wrestler and wrestled in the third place match. The Clippers finished 50th with a team total of 49.5 points.
