
The Gibraltar boys basketball team fell behind Shiocton 13-4 in the first quarter in non-conference action last night. Trailing by ten at the half, the Vikings watched Shiocton explode for 46 second-half points on the way to a 69-37 win Thursday night.
Wrightstown played Southern Door in night one of the Tiger Holiday Tournament and topped the Eagles 77-53. Cal McCarty scored 12 points to lead the Eagles but was the only Eagle to reach double digits in scoring.
Green Bay East outlasted Kewaunee 63-56 in a fast paced game played in De Pere. Caleb Johnson led all scorers with 27 points for the Storm.
Luxemburg-Casco was the only area boys team to win Thursday night. They topped Peshtigo 40-35. The win looked like a long shot for L-C after scoring just four first quarter points. The Spartans got on track by turning up their defensive intensity. Jake Zeitler led L-C with 12 points.
