McFarlin Tosses In 26 Points For Southern Door Girls

Southern Door needed all 26 of Cheyanne McFarlin's points to top Gillett 45-40 in non-conference girls hoops Tuesday night. Her five three pointers marked her best shooting performance of her varsity career. Rachel Andres not only set McFarlin up nicely but scored 10 points on her own.

The Eagles raced out to a 16-8 first quarter lead. Their pressure defense kept Gillett out of rhythm all night. Clutch free throw shooting helped preserve the victory. Southern Door finished 7-9 from the charity stripe.
