A lot of professional athletes wish they could be singers and a lot of singers wish they could be professional athletes. Country singer Kenny Chesney is one entertainer that gets the best of both worlds frequently. Playing at sold out stadiums across the world, Chesney announced yesterday that he will be playing a show at Miller Park in Milwaukee next year.
The "No Shoes Nation" tour will make a stop at Miller Park in May. The announcement comes a year after Chesney played to a sold out show at Lambeau Field in Green Bay. The May 18 concert will also feature Eric Church, the Eli Young Band and Kasey Musgraves. Miller Park is one of three Major League ballparks on the tour. The others are Target Field in Minneapolis and Angel Stadium in Anaheim.
Chesney's last visit to Miller Park was in October 2010 for Farm Aid's 25th anniversary concert.
Tickets to the Chesney show will go on sale Friday, December 7, at 9 a.m. CT at brewers.com/Chesney. Ticket prices will be $45 for the terrace; $90 for the field and loge infield; $115 for field, loge outfield and club level; $140 for on field; and $235 for the Sand Bar (plus applicable service fees). Miller Park capacity for the show will be approximately 41,000.
