During this Sunday’s matchup against the New Orleans Saints, the Packers will celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month by honoring UW Milwaukee professor Enrique E. Figueroa, Ph.D, as the recipient of the NFL Hispanic Heritage Leadership Award.
Sunday’s game also serves as the designated Packers Women’s Association annual Food Drive for Paul’s Pantry collection game. Prior to kickoff, PWA members will collect non-perishable food items and cash donations in the stadium parking lot and at the gates. For every five food items or $5 donated, fans will receive a chance to win Packers autographed items.
The Green Bay Metro gameday bus service is available again this year, with extended service to new areas of Green Bay. Further details and gameday route information is available at www.greenbaymetro.org/en-us/packers/default.aspx.
The UW Madison marching band will be performing a pre-game routine, followed by the national anthem. A flyover of four Navy F-18 jets supported by VFA-22 based at Naval Air Station Lemoore, Calif. will follow the national anthem, weather permitting. The UW Madison band will also perform a routine during halftime.
