Aramis Ramirez started his home run trot from the on deck circle in the seventh inning to help propel Milwaukee to a 7-6 win Monday. A hard hit ball to left field was originally ruled foul but overturned by review, Ramirez's homer wound up sinking the Blue Jays at Miller Park. Ramirez finished with three hits and three RBIs.
Randy Wolf pitched well and exited the game in the seventh inning with a runner on base, one out and a 6-3 lead. Expecting to notch the win, Wolf watched the bullpen squander another lead. Kameron Loe, the eventual winning pitcher, walked center fielder Colby Rasmus to bring up right fielder Jose Bautista, who hit a high sinker into the left-field seats for a 6-6 tie.
The Ramirez homer lifted the Brew Crew to victory on a night where all nine Brewers' batters had hits by the fourth inning.
