A string of three-pointers helped extend the Wisconsin Badgers men’s basketball’s Thanksgiving week trip Thursday by toppling Oklahoma 78-58 in the Bahamas.
D’Mitrik Brice led the way with 25 points, which included seven of the Badgers’ 14 made three-pointers. The Badgers played a close contest in the first half, but still led by three at the break. It then shot close to 60 percent in the second stanza, hitting eight of nine three-pointers, and outscored the Sooners by 17 points. Ethan Happ registered a double-double while Kobe King and Nathan Reuvers also scored in the double figures.
The Badgers will face the Virginia Cavaliers at 1 p.m. in the Battle 4 Atlantis championship game.
