Wisconsin Democratic gubernatorial candidate Tony Evers says local schools have lost ground financially under Republican Governor Scott Walker. Evers says cutbacks in state funding to schools began shortly after Walker took office. During a visit to DoorCountyDailyNews.com Evers, the Superintendent of the Department of Public Instruction, says he plans to make up for those losses.
