Tony Evers, the Democratic candidate for Governor of Wisconsin, says Act 10 will cost Door and Kewaunee County school districts more in the long run. During a recent visit to DoorCountyDailyNews.com, Evers says Act 10, which sharply reduced public employees collective bargaining rights, may have helped school budgets initially. Evers believes those savings are already being offset when it comes to recruiting new teachers.
