By Nate Lo Cascio The Green Bay Packers enter the bye with a 3-2-1 record, marking the fifth straight season and the 10th time under Head Coach Mike McCarthy that Green Bay entered the bye week with a winning record (4-3 in 2017, 2-1 in 2016, 6-0 in 2015, 5-3 in 2014, 6-3 in 2012, 7-0 in 2011, 6-3 in 2010, 4-3 in 2008, 5-1 in 2007). The Packers’ three wins are tied for the third most in the NFC this season,
trailing the 6-0 Los Angeles Rams and 4-1 New Orleans Saints.
Green Bay is currently tied with the Minnesota Vikings (3-2-1) for No. 2 in the NFC North, ahead of the Detroit Lions (2-3) and behind the Chicago Bears (3-2). This is the second Week 7 bye for Green Bay in the last four seasons. With the win in Week 6, the Packers have won 13 of their last 15 home games in the month of October.
