Brewers long reliever Junior Guerra pitched three and two/thirds innings and did a solid job but gave up an RBI single to Cody Bellinger scoring Manny Machado from second. The L.A. victory evened the series at (2-2) with the final game on the West Coast starting at 4:05 PM CST today.
Domingo Santana drove in the lone run in the 13 innings of lackluster offense for Milwaukee. Lorenzo Cain’s struggles at the plate continued and went hitless and did not draw a walk in six plate appearances. Christian Yelich walked once but went just 1×5 in the game.
Wade Miley will start in game five this afternoon and will oppose Dodgers’ ace Clayton Kershaw.
