By Nick Freimuth The Milwaukee Brewers have a 2-1 lead in the National League Championship Series thanks to a 4-0 shutout of the Dodgers in Los Angeles Monday night. A Ryan Braun double brought home Christian Yelich for the games first run in the first inning. Milwaukee would score again off a wild pitch in the sixth inning. Orlando Arcia would put two insurance runs on the board with his third home run of the postseason in the seventh inning.
Jeremy Jeffress would again make it interesting however in the bottom of the ninth inning. Jeffress would load the bases before striking out the final two batters he faced to secure the 4-0 shutout for Milwaukee. Game four will begin tonight at 8:09 PM.
