Georgean Schuller of Kaukauna, formerly of Kewaunee, died at home Thursday, September 27, at age 91. She was born to Frances and George Kocmich of Kewaunee on February 4, 1927. She married Peter Schuller at the Community Congregational Church in Kewaunee on October 11, 1947. Georgean enjoyed gardening, both vegetable and flowers, loved to do word search puzzles and was an avid reader. Her baking skills will be greatly missed by her family.
She is survived by three daughters: Ellen (Michael) Helgren of Beaver Dam, Virginia (Jeff) Schuller-Rach of Kaukauna, and Lois (Dr. Matt) Bovee of Morrow, Ohio; seven grandchildren: Jason (Allison Ishizaki), Quentin, and David Helgren; Matt (Annika) and Ryan Schuller-Rach; Dr. Katherine (Matt Yard) and Mark Bovee; and four great-grandchildren: Lukas, Mia, and Nolan (children of Matt and Annika Schuller- Rach) and Imari, daughter of Jason Helgren and Allison Ishizaki. Georgean is also survived by three nieces and three nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband Peter in 1999 and two sisters and brothers-in-law: Annamae and Donald Schuller of Kewaunee and Dorothy and Gene Albert of Kalispell, Montana. Also preceding her in death was her niece, Diane Schuller, of Kewaunee.
In lieu of formal services, an informal gathering of family and friends will be held on October 13 from 1-4 p.m. at 2701 Garners Creek Court, Kaukauna. Burial of the ashes will be in Riverside Cemetery of Kewaunee. The Buchanan Funeral Home of Kewaunee is assisting the family.
