By Nick Freimuth The Milwaukee Brewers won their ninth straight game Thursday. A walk-off RBI single for Mike Moustakas scored Christian Yelich from third base to give ‘The Crew’ game one 3-2 in the National League Divisional Series. Yelich was responsible for the first two runs as well. He blasted a deep two-run home run to left-center field in the bottom of the third inning. It appeared that home run would be enough for Milwaukee. However, the ninth inning blew up on closer Jeremy Jeffress. He allowed two runs in the top of the ninth but worked his magic to keep Colorado to just two runs in the frame.
Game two at Miller Park will be this afternoon at 3:15 PM. Game three will be played in Denver at 3:37 PM, conveniently after the Packers play the Lions at noon.
