By Brett Kinnard The Milwaukee Brewers beat the Cincinnati Reds yesterday 7-0. Gio Gonzalez started out on the bump and pitched a gem of a game for the Brewers. He went six innings strong while not allowing a single earned run in the game. The bullpen was scoreless from there on out.
The Brewers were easily able to get some run support across in this one. Jesus Aguilar had a three-run bomb in the third to give them a comfy lead. Manny Pina had a three-run shot of his own in the sixth. Milwaukee would never look back.
Milwaukee now sits two and a half games back in the division. They will have an off day Thursday before beginning a series with the Pirates on Friday.
