By Brett Kinnard The Milwaukee Brewers lost to the Pittsburgh Pirates yesterday 3-2. Jhoulys Chacin started on the bump for Milwaukee and went five innings strong only allowing two earned runs. The bullpen would almost go scoreless from there on out.
The Brewers were slacking on runs up until the ninth inning. It started off with a solo shot from Jesus Aguilar. That was followed by a solo shot from Domingo Santana to make it a one-run game. The Brewers were unable to mount the comeback as they eventually fell short in the ninth.
Milwaukee now sits two and a half games back in the division. They will start a series with the Reds on Monday.
