Three home runs and a bunt double provided all the scoring the Milwaukee Brewers would need in its 7-4 win over the Pittsburgh Pirates on Friday night. Starter Gio Gonzalez was given a three-run lead to work with to work with after he pitched a scoreless first innings and opening frame home runs by Christian Yelich and Travis Shaw. The Pirates would tie it at three with a Jordan Luplow triple and Francisco Cervelli sacrifice fly in the third inning and a fifth inning home-run by Pablo Reyes. The Brewers responded right away with Jesus Aguilar hitting a RBI sacrifice fly in the bottom half of the inning. Push bunt by Orlando Arcia caught the Pirates playing out of position as he ended up on second base while plating two. After Mike Moustakas made it 7-3 Brewers with a home run, Josh Harrison hit a RBI double for the Pirates to close up scoring for the evening. Corbin Burnes got the win in relief for the Brewers. The two teams are back at it this evening at 6:10 in Milwaukee with Zach Davies facing Ivan Nova on the hill.
