By Brett Kinnard The Milwaukee Brewers beat the Chicago Cubs last night 3-2. Wade Miley started on the bump for Milwaukee and had a nice outing. He went five innings strong in the game and picked up the win. Josh Hader came in relief and struck out six batters.
Lorenzo Cain led the way in the game with four hits. Milwaukee scored the game clinching run in the sixth on a wild pitch. Jeremy Jeffries would come in to nail down the save in ninth.
Milwaukee now sits one game back in the division. They take on the Cubs in game two tonight. Jhoulys Chacin will have his name called in the rotation. First pitch will be thrown out at 7:05.
