By Brett Kinnard The Milwaukee Brewers lost to the Chicago Cubs yesterday at home 6-4. Jhoulys Chacin started on the bump for Milwaukee and had a rough go at it. He went nearly five innings but gave up three earned runs. It was a couple of errors in the game that made the Brewers fall behind.
After a Curtis Granderson homer in the in the seventh, Milwaukee nearly mounted a comeback in the ninth. They had two guys on base with multiple guys up to bat in the ninth but they couldn’t get it done.
The Brewers will now have a day off before traveling to San Francisco for a weekend series. They will take on the Giants Friday night at 7:10.
