By Nick Freimuth The Packers played only a handful of starters in the final pre-season game last night in Kansas City. A 33-21 loss dropped Green Bay to (2-2) in the regular season. Tim Boyle got 99% of the work at quarterback Thursday. He finished 15/31 passing for 127 yards, one touchdown, two interceptions and a 43.4 QB Rating. DeShone Kizer started the game out by throwing an interception on his first drive. He recovered from his shaky start, however, to finish 5/7 for 57 yards with a touchdown.
Green Bay will make their roster cuts Saturday and have a week to prepare after that for the Sunday Night Football season opener next week at Lambeau Field against the Bears.
