By Brett Kinnard The Milwaukee Brewers beat the Cincinnati Reds yesterday 2-1 in 11 innings. Wade Miley started out on the bump for Milwaukee and had a really nice outing. He went seven and a third innings of one-run baseball while striking out six. Joakim Soria would eventually pick up the win when he came in and pitched a scoreless 10th.
Christian Yelich started off the scoring when he walked in a run in the fifth inning. The game would remain tied up until the 11th. In the top of the 11th, Lorenzo Cain launched a solo shot to put Milwaukee up for good. Josh Hader then came in to nail down the save.
The Brewers will now travel to Washington to take on the Nationals Friday. Jhoulys Chacin will have his name called in the rotation. First pitch will be thrown out at 6:05.
