By Brett Kinnard The Milwaukee Brewers beat the Cincinnati Reds yesterday in extra innings 13-12. Freddy Peralta started on the bump for Milwaukee and got roughed up. He would surrender five earned runs in only four innings on the mound. Josh Hader also allowed four earned runs on the night. So it was an uphill battle the whole game.
Christian Yelich did everything in his effort to keep the team in the game. He hit for the cycle in the game while going 6×6 as well. Eventually, Jesus Aguilar hit the go-ahead bomb in the top of the tenth inning to give Milwaukee the lead. Jeremy Jeffries would come in to close the door on the Reds.
The Brewers will now continue their series with the Reds on Thursday. Wade Miley will have his name called in the rotation for an 11:35 start.
