By Brett Kinnard The Milwaukee Brewers beat the Cincinnati Reds yesterday 4-0 at Miller Park. Freddy Peralta started on the bump and pitched an absolute gem of a game. He went seven innings strong not allowing a single run. Jeremy Jeffries would come in to close the door on the Reds in the eighth and ninth.
The bats picked up when they needed to in this game. Christian Yelich lead it off with a bomb in the first inning to put Milwaukee up right away. Freddy Peralta would actually help his own cause in the fourth with an RBI single of his own.
The Brewers will now have a day off on Thursday before beginning a weekend series on Friday. Wade Miley will have his name called in the rotation against the Pirates.
