Sturgeon Bay Soccer lost to Wausau East 4-2 on Tuesday. Wausau East doubled up the Clippers 2-1 in both halves. Sturgeon Bay outshot Wausau East 14-2 the first half and only come away with one goal. Wausau East’s two goals were place kicks in the first two minutes and a flick-on over the Clipper’s goalkeeper on a restart. Wausau East controlled the majority of the possession and Sturgeon Bay struggled to keep pace as the match wore on. The Clippers tired from only having two substitutes, because their bubble players were with JV, and four players out due to injury. Sturgeon Bay will now play Thursday against Kewaunee.
Kewaunee Varsity Boys Soccer defeated Roncalli Tuesday 7-6.
