By Brett Kinnard The Milwaukee Brewers lost to the Chicago Cubs yesterday 8-4 at Wrigley Field. Junior Guerra started on the bump for Milwaukee and had a rough go at it allowing six earned runs in a little under four innings pitched. It was a tough hole for the Brewers to climb out of.
After four homers on Tuesday, Milwaukee was held at bay in that department. They were able to knock in some runs by a couple singles from Eric Thames and Jonathan Schoop. Just wasn’t quite enough to crawl back into the game.
The Brewers will now have a day off Thursday before starting a series with the Cardinals on Friday. Freddy Peralta will have his name called in the rotation. First pitch will be thrown out at 7:15.
