By Brett Kinnard The Milwaukee Brewers beat the Chicago Cubs 7-0 Tuesday afternoon at Wrigley Field. Jhoulys Chacin started on the bump for Milwaukee and pitched an absolute gem. He went seven innings strong of shutout baseball against the Cubs lineup while striking out a career-high ten batters.
The Brewers had no problem getting the long ball going in this one. They hit a total of four homers during the game to give themselves a comfortable lead. Ryan Braun continued his dominance at Wrigley field with two bombs in the game.
The Brewers will now continue their series with the Cubs in Chicago on Wednesday. First pitch will be thrown out at 1:20. Junior Guerra will get his name called in the rotation.
