Baseball fans in Green Bay will find themselves without a team in city limits once again after the Green Bay Bullfrogs ended their run at Joannes Stadium Sunday afternoon with an 8-3 loss to the Wisconsin Rapids Rafters. The Bullfrogs were down 6-0 before finally scratching across three runs in the sixth inning thanks to two errors and Alejandro Gonzalez testing the Rafters’ relay ability by taking home on a throw from the catcher to second base. Sunday’s game marked the last game the Bullfrogs will play at Green Bay’s Joannes Stadium as they get ready to make the move to Ashwaubenon for their 2019 campaign. It was also the last time Northwoods League fans will see the team as the Green Bay Bullfrogs, which will rebrand as a part of their move to their new stadium.
