By Brett Kinnard The Milwaukee Brewers lost to the Atlanta Braves 8-7 on Sunday afternoon. Chase Anderson started on the bump for Milwaukee and went four innings allowing four earned runs. The rest of the bullpen got tagged with four earned runs in the game as well which made it a hard one to win.
Jesus Aguilar had a monster game in this one as he started off with a three-run shot in the fourth inning. He would follow that up with an RBI double in the fifth inning. It just wasn’t quite enough though, as the Braves hit a go-ahead homer in the seventh to take the lead for good.
The Brewers will now have a day off Monday before they begin a series with the Cubs on Tuesday. First pitch will be thrown out at 1:20 at Wrigley Field.
