The Milwaukee Brewers bested the Los Angeles Dodgers 1-0 Tuesday in Los Angeles. The 1-0 win put the Brewers in first place in the National League Central Division. Lorenzo Cain proved to be Milwaukee’s defensive and offensive star of the evening. He drove in the Brewers only run on a double in the third inning. Cain also saved a run from scoring in the seventh inning by catching the Dodgers Cody Bellinger’s high fly ball at the centerfield wall. That preserved the win for Wade Miley who threw seven shutout innings and gave up only two Dodger hits. Both teams face off again tonight for the third game of the series.
