A wild pitch in the bottom of the 10th inning is to blame for a sour note to end a road trip for the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers, losing 3-2 to the Peoria Chiefs. Brewers pitcher Zach Davies took the hill for the Timber Rattlers in his rehab assignment, through 2 1/3 innings with four strikeouts. Payton Henry hit a home run and Kenny Corey’s sacrifice fly gave the Timber Rattlers their only tallies of the game. In the bottom of the tenth, a wild pitch by Cody Beckman gave Wood Myers enough breathing room to dash for home to give the Chiefs their 11th win in 16 tries against the Timber Rattlers. Fox Cities Stadium is the site for the next seven games for the Timber Rattlers, starting Saturday night against the Kane County Cougars.
