The Milwaukee Brewers beat the San Francisco Giants Thursday night 7-5. Wade Miley started on the bump for Milwaukee and had a nice night going five innings strong only allowing two earned runs. Josh Hader eventually would come in and pick up his first win in the second half of the season.
Christian Yelich continued to be on fire at the plate with three hits in this game including one important solo shot in the sixth inning. Travis Shaw also went deep in this game to give them a little breathing room in the ninth.
The Brewers will now continue their series against the Giants on Friday. Chase Anderson will have his name called in the rotation. First pitch will be thrown out at 9:15.
