The Wisconsin Timber Rattlers take the win from the South Bend Cubs in Saturday night’s game with a score of 5-2. The Timber Rattlers start off strong in the top of the 1st with KJ Harrison hitting a double on a fly ball to the center fielder Chris Singleton resulting in Tristan Lutz scoring. Gilbert Lara follows after with a single ground ball hit to center fielder Singleton allowing Harrison to score. The Timber Rattlers stick to their lead in the top of the 4th with Rob Henry hitting a ground ball to left fielder Zach Davis which let Gabriel Garcia score. Zach Clark hits a single line drive to Davis once again letting Darrin Serefina score. The Timber Rattlers end their scoring streak with Trevor Morrison hitting a single fly ball to left fielder Davis and allowing Gilbert Lara to score. Dylan File pitched the winning game in eight innings with three hits, one run and five strikeouts. The Timber Rattlers are back in action against the Cubs at 1:05 p.m. this afternoon.
