By Brett Kinnard The Milwaukee Brewers lost to the Miami Marlins in 10 innings on Monday night. The final score of the game was 4-3. Chase Anderson started on the bump for Milwaukee and had a solid outing going nearly five innings of shutout baseball.
The Brewer bats got some help from Lorenzo Cain in the third by hitting an RBI single to give them a 1-0 lead. Next inning, Jesus Aguilar hit his 23rd homer of the season. Eventually Milwaukee would fall short on a walk-off in the tenth inning. They had plenty of chances to win this one.
The Brewers will now run it back for game two in the series Tuesday night at 6:10. Jhoulys Chacin will take the mound for Milwaukee against Pablo Lopez for the Marlins.
