By Brett Kinnard The Milwaukee Brewers beat the Atlanta Braves 10-3 Sunday afternoon at Miller Park. Junior Guerra started on the bump for Milwaukee and had a another really solid outing. His final stat line for the day was six innings pitched with only one earned run and four strikeouts. He eventually picked up the win for Milwaukee.
The Brewer bats came with some power in this one as they scored a lot of runs off the home run ball. Jesus Aguilar, who is in the final vote for the all-star game, made a statement by launching his 21st and 22nd homer in the game. Eric Thames also has a solo shot to keep the runs coming.
The Brewers ended up with three players selected to the all-star game in Christian Yelich, Lorenzo Cain, and Josh Hader. Milwaukee now starts a series in Miami with the Marlins on Monday. They now sit one and a half games ahead in first place.
