David F. Trousil, 91, DePere, passed away peacefully at Rennes Health and Rehab. He was born Sept. 16, 1926 in Manitowoc to Elmer and Helen (Karl) Trousil.
David served in the US Army during WWII in the Phillipines from 1945-1946. He was an avid hunter and fisherman.
David is survived by his five children Clark (Jeanne) Trousil, Paul (Donna) Trousil, Michele Trousil, Jeff (Ellen) Trousil, and Kristie (Jon) Ambrose; nine grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren; one sister Gwen Malkowski and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Florence, special friend Arlene Krueger, one sister Ruth (Ray) Berres and two sisters-in-law Edna (Clarence) Sievert and Violet (Ted) Buza.
Family and friends may attend a gathering and service for David at the SCHINDERLE FUNERAL HOME, Algoma, Saturday, July 14, 2018 from 10 AM until the time of services at11:30 AM with Rev. Gloria Butler officiating. Burial will take place at a later date at the Carlton Volunteer Cemetery in West Kewaunee.
