By Brett Kinnard The Milwaukee Brewers lost to the Reds on Sunday afternoon 8-2. Freddy Peralta started on the bump for Milwaukee and had a shaky first inning allowing three earned runs. After that, he settled in and found a groove going four more innings while allowing now runs.
After an hour rain delay during the fifth inning, the Reds poured it on in the sixth with a grand slam to put them ahead the rest of the game. The lone runs scored for Milwaukee came on a Ryan Braun two run shot in the top of the ninth.
The Brewers will now continue their home stand with a series against the Twins. Brent Suter will take the mound for Monday’s game. First pitch being thrown out at 7:10.
