The LumberKings defeat the Timber Rattlers 8-1 in Saturday night’s game. The Timber Rattlers loaded up the bases in the bottom of the 1st inning with a chance to score, but LumberKing’s pitcher Oliver Jaskie got out of the inning, allowing no runs. The only run scored by the Timber Rattlers was a home run hit by Zack Clark to left center field in the bottom of the 3rd inning. In the bottom of the 6th, the Timber Rattlers had two runners on the bases with Tyler Saladino with a walk and Tristen Lutz with a single. They failed to score though when the LumberKing’s relief pitcher, Adonis De La Cruz, came in to replace Jaskie and prevented the Timber Rattlers currently on base from gaining any further runs.
The Timber Rattlers wrap up their four-game series with the LumberKings on Sunday afternoon at 1:05 p.m.
