The Wisconsin Timber Rattlers may have changed their name to the Wisconsin Brats on Saturday night, but it did not stop its winning ways, as Wisconsin won its fifth straight game 4-0 over the Cedar Rapids Kernels. The Timber Rattlers jumped out to a 3-0 lead in the third inning following a three-run double by Trever Morrison. Wisconsin had loaded the bases following two straight walks and an infield hit before Morrison cleared the bases. Wisconsin added one more run in the 5th when Demi Orimoloye reached on error that would score Morrison after he recorded his second hit of the ball game. The Timber Rattlers bullpen locked down the game, not allowing a single run. Alec Bettinger earned the win following a 6 inning performance in which he allowed just three hits and struck out six. The Timber Rattlers will don Brewers-themed jerseys on Sunday when it faces Cedar Rapids for game three of a four-game set.
