With 84 days until the season officially kicks off the Badgers 2018 campaign will have high expectations following the winningest season in program history which included the Badgers knocking off Miami 34-24 in the Orange Bowl. Sophomore running back Jonathan Taylor will open the season with the second-best odds to win the Heisman Trophy, following his stellar freshman campaign. The Badgers also announced the verbal commitment of 3-Star athlete Dean Engram from Washington DC, a highly touted WR/DB who chose Wisconsin over Penn State, Virginia Tech and others. Engram is the 10th recruit to commit to Wisconsin for the 2019 season. As part of the offseason workouts the Badgers have developed a slogan for the season, according to their Instagram page, No One Cares, Work Harder, with athletes sporting t-shirts with the slogan. The Badgers will have plenty of gaps to fill on defense after losing linebackers Leon Jacobs, Jack Cichy, and Garret Dooley, as well as Nick Nelson and Derrick Tindal in the secondary to the NFL.
