After being no-hit by the Sevastopol Pioneers on Friday, the Gibraltar Vikings look to get their offense back on track in a Packerland Conference matchup against the Algoma Wolves Monday evening. The setback put the Vikings back to 3-3 on the shortened season. The Vikings will likely be without Trevor Reinhardt, who went over 100 pitches on Friday in a complete game, seven strikeout effort. The Wolves’ doubleheader against Southern Door was rained out Friday and have not played since they lost to the Vikings last Thursday. In the 9-1 loss, the Vikings took advantage of five Wolves miscues and scored the first seven runs in the contest.
Eric Fischer and Tim Kowols will have the action for you from Perry Field in Algoma beginning at 4:30 p.m. with the pre-game show and 5 p.m. with the first pitch.
Other high school baseball action Monday includes Sevastopol hosting Peshtigo and Kewaunee traveling to Oconto.
