Ryan Braun came up clutch again Saturday night with a 2-run double in the 8th inning, as the Brewers defeated the Pittsburgh Pirates 5-3. Braun’s go-ahead double came after Josh Hader allowed Pittsburgh to tie the game with a Sterling Marte 2-run home run in the top of the 8th. Hader came back out for the 9th and earned the win following the blown save, striking out 4 over 2 innings. Jhoulys Chacin qualified for a quality start, pitching 6 innings, with one earned run, and 4 strikeouts. Milwaukee’s starting outfielders Lorenzo Cain, Christian Yelich, and Domingo Santana all went 2-4 in the win. Chase Anderson takes the mound in the series finale on Sunday afternoon.
