The Milwaukee Brewers fell to the Pittsburgh Pirates 6-4 on Friday night in its return to Miller Park following a nine-game road trip. The Pirates struck first when Junior Guerra walked Francisco Cervelli with the bases loaded in the first. Manny Pina would tie the game in the bottom of the second with a home run for the Brewers. However, Pittsburgh would hit two-run homers in the third and fifth innings to jump out to a 5-1 lead. Milwaukee was able to reel the game back in following a 3-run sixth inning including a Domingo Santana 2-run homer, his first of the year. In the top of the ninth, David Freese gave the Bucs an insurance run with a home run of his own. With the loss, Milwaukee falls to 5-13 against teams with a winning record. The Brewers are back in action Saturday evening with Jhoulys Chacin on the mound.
